Following the death of Anselmo de Benedetti in 1902 his wife Bettina commissioned an Art Nouveau monument in 1904. The architect was Giovan Battista Bossi (1864-1924). It has a dark serizzo base and a small aedicule in Chiampo marble with bronze decorations. An iron cord of flowers surrounds the whole aedicule and on both sides there are two votive oil lamps which are in iron also. The rounded shape of the aedicule is well proportioned. Arch. Bossi designed the Art Nouveau houses in via Malpighi 3 and 12 in Milan (Casa Galimberti and Casa Guazzoni).
