Son of Carlo Carvaglio of Pisa, he died in Stresa at the age of 30 in 1914. He collaborated with the magazine “il Ponte di Pisa” who wrote in his obituary: ” Known for the kindness of his gentle and affectionate soul, for the wide reaching culture of his mind, which delighted in art, literature and philosophy, he seduced people with his elegant conversation, with his articles in which the finesse of genius – which was expressed literary form, at one time broad, imaginative , at another short and almost jerky – was always associated with a vibration of feeling. In 1910 he published a booklet of good verses and with a melancholy, or rather a heartfelt sadness, reading which, today, we feel our hearts moved and our eyes moisten.”
The tomb is made up of a square piece of rock and an iron flower vase.
