Giorgio Polacco, born in Livorno in 1857, who had a degree in law from the University of Pavia, began his diplomatic career in 1880 by becoming consul general of the Kingdom of Italy in Sofia. He died in service in 1902 at the age of 45. His sister Emma married the banker Cimon Weill- Schott (1833-1891).

He is buried with his mother Clementina Cammeo born in Livorno in 1832 and deceased in Milan in 1912.

The tomb, in the shape of a small temple, is decorated with Art Nouveau floral motifs and a refined iron gate with the name POLACCO.
