Rita Sacerdoti died young in 1920. Sculptor Michele Vedani (1874-1969) made a bronze angel with spread wings in her memory.

Vedani, who was an important sculptor from Lecco, studied at the Accademia di Brera with Enrico Butti; he was the sculptor of many works at the Monumentale, he participated in 1904 in the exhibition “Italian Exhibition Earls Court” in London. He is the sculptor of the caryatids at the entrance of Casa Campanini in Milan.

Her brother Marco, who died young in 1930, her father Arturo (1858-1930), her mother Elvira (1857-1936) are buried next to Rita.
