Nino Colombo (1899-1934) rests in a monument of polished diorite created in 1935 by the Turin sculptor Roberto Terracini (1900-1976). It features two large stylized angels, one holding the Tablets of the Law and the other a sword. The sculptor, who was the nephew of Rabbi Davide Mordekhai Terracini (1811-1892) of Asti, lost his father at a young age and studied art thanks to his older brother Dino. His work is inspired by the Renaissance and is renowned for the realism of its forms.
