Guido Vitale died at the age of three in 1936, the son of Bruno (1904-1980) and Luisa Sacerdoti (1903-1979). The Vitale family was originally from Biella.

On the tomb, Castiglioni represents a rose with a long stem and a star. At the base of the flower, there is a fallen bud.
