Moisé Foligno, born in 1849, began his career in Ancona with Costantini & Co, a company specializing in iron and steel trade. In 1903, he founded Foligno & C. in Milan, which, with the support of his son Giulio (see tomb n. 26), became the leading company in Milan for steel products trading. In 1922, his wife Fortuna Mondolfo passed away, and Moisé commissioned architect Adolfo Valabrega and master builder P. Guglielminotti to construct a chapel in red porphyry with gold inscriptions and beautiful floral decorations, completed between 1923 and 1927. The iron portal is also remarkable. The chapel also holds the graves of three of his children and a granddaughter.
